DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Stephen Handford, a Battalion Chief and Paramedic with South Central EMS, and his father Doug Handford delivered handcrafted holiday gift boxes to select local hospitals on Christmas Eve through their family-run business, Buzzin Bees Necessities.
The boxes were given to nursing staff, who handed them to patients. The goal was simple: offer warmth and a reminder that someone was thinking of them during what can be one of the hardest times of year.
