HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Game Commission on Tuesday announced that the propagation area of Haldeman Island in Dauphin County (State Game Lands 290) will be closed to all hunting this year.
Traditionally, the propagation area of the Susquehanna River island, which is located in northern Dauphin County near the Perry County border, is open to flintlock hunters after Christmas, the Game Commission said.
