Former Central Dauphin School District nurse, husband accused of abusing 2-month-old child

HERSHEY, Pa. — A former nurse in the Central Dauphin School District and her husband have been accused of injuring a two-month-old baby in their care, according to a criminal complaint affidavit filed by Swatara Township Police on Monday.

Taylor Peifer, 29, is no longer employed at the school district, a CDSD spokesperson told FOX43.

She and her husband, 28-year-old Zachariah Peifer, both of Hummelstown, were charged after the child was reportedly found with multiple bruises to their arms, chest, back, shoulders and left leg. The baby was also found to have multiple healing rib fractures, police claim…
