More precipitation is expected in the coming days, according to the National Weather Service, after the Harrisburg region saw a healthy glazing of ice during Friday’s storm.
Sleet and freezing rain blanketed most of Pennsylvania on Friday, leaving behind between a tenth to a quarter of an inch of ice in most locations, according to the NWS. Traffic was snarled Friday night following several serious crashes on major highways.
