Driver suffers medical emergency at the wheel, strikes tractor-trailer in Cumberland County

UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — A driver was injured after suffering a medical emergency at the wheel and colliding with a tractor-trailer in Cumberland County.

According to Upper Allen Township Police, on December 18 at 11:31 p.m., officers responded to U.S. Route 15 North near mile marker N36.9 for a vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, authorities found that the driver of a yellow Ford Transit experienced a sudden medical emergency, which caused them to lose control of the vehicle and collide with a tractor-trailer.
