Ryan Christopher Young, 26, of Middletown, was arrested following the incident in Lower Swatara Township on Wednesday, Dec. 31, according to the Lower Swatara Township Police Department.
During an argument, Young allegedly punched a family member and grabbed the person by the neck, causing swelling to the face and neck area, police said. Investigators also allege Young punched his 1-year-old nephew during the disturbance.
Young was charged with the following offenses, police said and court records show:
- Felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
- Misdemeanor Simple Assault.
- Summary Harassment.
