HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Dogs bark greetings to visitors who stop by the Humane Society Harrisburg Area. But once Lydia Hammond starts to pull at the strings, a calm settles in kennels.
“I’m a retired nurse, and I have a little more time now for music,” Hammond said. “So, it’s just something that makes me happy.”
