YORK, Pa. — Tea lovers could soon feel the impact of tariffs at checkout as small business owners shared that tariffs are forcing them to make tough decisions.
“The price of, let’s say, the green tea going from $12 to $15 a pound to $20 to $40 a pound,” said Amanda Axe, owner of tea shop Lilybird & Company. “Sometimes even greater than that. So, unfortunately, it has resulted in me raising my prices a little bit.”
