Courthouse roof repairs receive $200k state grant in Cumberland County

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — A planned project to repair the slate roof at the Cumberland County Courthouse is receiving some help from the state.

A $200,000 Local Share Account grant will go towards the project, county officials announced earlier this week.

“We are so grateful to our Cumberland County legislators for supporting this project,” said County Commissioner Kelly Neiderer. “These funds will be used to help maintain the roof ‘s historic character and protect the building from future damage.”…
