Man accused of murder tried to smuggle drugs into Dauphin County Prison: police

Police have filed new charges against a Harrisburg man awaiting trial on murder charges, this time accusing him of trying to smuggle contraband into Dauphin County Prison.

Adrian Jaden Norris, 22, coordinated with two people not in jail to smuggle nine bags of marijuana and legal paperwork sprayed with PCP, also known as “angel dust,” on Sept. 11, according to police.

Police intercepted the drugs before they could make it inside the prison, they said in court documents…
