Officials release name of man, 20, who died after shooting, crash in Harrisburg

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — One week after his passing, officials have released the name of a young man who died after he was shot in Harrisburg and then involved in a crash while trying to escape.

The coroner’s office on Tuesday identified the victim as Mehki Brooks, 20, of West Hanover Township. His cause of death was found to be a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and his manner of death was ruled homicide.
