Animal rights protesters to gather at Pa. Farm Show

Along with the animal competitions, butter sculpture and fun foods, visitors at the Pennsylvania Farm Show on Sunday might encounter protesters.

Central Pennsylvania Animal Action will be at the Farm Show’s main entrance from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. holding signs and handing out literature regarding what they say is abuse of animals within the agriculture industry.

In a press release, the group emphasized its intention is to “shine a light on the inherent cruelty of animal agriculture and the events held inside the Farm Show Complex.”…
