Threat shuts down 6 central Pa. libraries

The Adams County Library System suddenly shut down Friday after receiving a threat.

In a noon announcement on Facebook, the library system said the closure was because of an “unforeseen security situation.”

“The safety and security of our customers, staff, and visitors is our primary concern,” the Facebook post said. “We are working with local authorities and will provide updates on our reopening date as soon as possible.”…
