An agreement with Volkert Inc. for pre-design and design-phase services was approved at the Dec. 29 meeting of Perry County commissioners.
The agreement initiates a planning process for a centralized county government center. The firm will serve as construction manager through the early phases of the project, overseeing site evaluation, land acquisition assistance, engineering coordination and preparation of bid-ready plans.
