Cumberland County’s Dustin “The Disciple” Pague to challenge for first Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Title | Sports Spotlight

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Ever since Dustin “The Disciple” Pague began fighting at 16-years-old, the Cumberland County native has had the dream of being crowned a world champion. More than two decades later, Pague will finally get his shot in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) for the Welterweight World Championship.

“I just can’t find the words to express that feeling. As cliche as it is, it would be a dream come true for me, my family and friends, and just others that would be inspired by it,” said Pague. “I’m truly grateful for the opportunity.”

Pague will take on bare knuckle fighting legend Julian Lane in the main event of BKFC-86 on Saturday Jan. 17 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut. The highly anticipated matchup is a culmination of Pague’s two decade long fighting journey.
