Mechanicsburg woman charged after allegedly running over man in Greencastle

GREENCASTLE- A Mechanicsburg woman is facing felony charges in Franklin County after allegedly hitting her partner with a vehicle. Rachel Marie Turner failed to post bail of $50,000 after being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor simple assault, and citation harassment. Turner remains incarcerated in Franklin County Jail.

Around 5:53pm on December 12th, Pennsylvania State Police were called to a domestic assault involving a motor vehicle on Kuhn Road, Antrim Township. Troopers would learn that the victim had been assaulted at his mother’s home by the mother of his daughter, Rachel Turner.

PSP say that the victim and Turner would have a verbal argument due to a custody exchange and that the former would stand in front of a car driven by the latter with their child in the back seat. That is when, according to court filings, Turner “suddenly accelerated forward and struck him with the front of her vehicle while yelling ‘you’re crazy’ at him through the driver’s window.”…
