Inspector Comments

  • A Food Employee admitted to washing their hands at the ware washing sink rather than the designated handwash sink.
  • The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection.
  • Observed frozen food stored directly on the floor in the walk-in freezer area, rather than 6 inches off of the floor as required. Corrected.
  • Observed employee wearing white lab coat (stained with blood), taking a smoke break in facility parking lot (at their vehicle). Said employee was also observed petting dogs in the parking lot. Lab coat should not be worn outside and/or on break times, soiled outer garments may contaminate food and/or food equipment.
