Door-to-door canvassing starting in Dauphin County neighborhood

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Door-to-door canvassing will be conducted in a Dauphin County neighborhood starting on Wednesday, according to the Derry Township Police Department.

Police said that Mercury Opinion, a DBA of Working America, AFL-CIO, is conducting door-to-door canvassing in Derry Township starting on January 21. Police said the organization does not sell products and will not attempt to solicit any funds.

Police also informed the public to always ask canvassers for their identification and to never invite people conducting canvassing or soliciting into their homes. Canvassers will be carrying identification cards and wearing red safety vests.
