Winter storm watch issued for central Pa. Here’s when snow is supposed to start

A winter storm watch has been issued for most of Pennsylvania, including the Harrisburg region, from Saturday night through Monday afternoon.

Significant snow accumulation is expected. Forecasts show the potential for widespread heavy snow, with some areas possibly receiving more than a foot.

The storm system will arrive Saturday night and intensify through Sunday, bringing what forecasters describe as “major winter storm impacts.” Models suggest areas south and east of Interstates 80/99 could see a foot or more of snow, with at least 6″ expected across most of central Pennsylvania…
