Greer’s Burger Garage is gearing up to open its fourth location at the site of the soon-to-be-former Maple Donuts on Route 30 in York.
And while the beloved retro interior is getting an upgrade, owner Ethan Greer partnered with Hanover upholsterer Jeff Weaver to bring new life to the 40-year-old blue stools. For Greer and many others in the community, there’s an element of nostalgia tied to the building.
“I, like many York countians, grew up eating Maple Donuts,” Greer said. “I can remember my mom stopping to get me doughnut holes and hot chocolate through the pickup window when I was a little boy.”…
