New Chinese restaurant brings more than just food to central Pa.: ‘Dim sum is my childhood’

Chi Siu wants to bring authentic dim sum to central Pennsylvania, and he’s starting in the Hummelstown area.

Siu is the proud owner of TĀNG Dumplings, located at 1134 Mae Street in Derry Twp., a restaurant specializing in xiao long bao (soup dumplings), dim sum, and stir-fry. Siu also owns Asoul Ramen in Lower Allen Township, among other restaurants in central Pennsylvania.

Dim sum, which traditionally consists of small bites of food for breakfast and means “touch of heart,” is something Siu’s mother made for him while he was growing up…
