Dauphin County emergency crews rescue horse from frozen pond

Emergency crews in Dauphin County on Thursday were dispatched to a nonprofit animal therapy organization to rescue a horse from an icy pond, according to dispatch logs and a local news outlet.

The county’s live 911 website showed the incident took place around 3:30 p.m. at an address on Station Road in East Hanover Township.

The Sun in Hummelstown said fire crews were sent to 168 Station Road, where the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA) is located.
