Pa. weather: Winter storm warning in effect until Monday afternoon

On Sunday at 5:01 a.m., a winter storm warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until Monday at 1 p.m. for Somerset, Bedford, Fulton, Franklin, Perry, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams, York and Lancaster counties.

“Heavy snow, mixing with or possibly changing to sleet this afternoon and evening, especially south of the Turnpike.

“Total snow and sleet accumulations between 9 and 12 inches, possibly topped by light glazing of ice,” can be expected, according to the weather service…
