Start digging! In central Pa., most municipalities give you between 5 and 48 hours to clear your sidewalks after a snowstorm

YORK, Pa. — Now that Sunday’s snowstorm is over, city and borough officials across central Pennsylvania are reminding homeowners and other residents about their responsibilities when it comes to removing snow from their sidewalks.

In most Central Pa. municipalities, residents have between 5 and 48 hours from the end of the storm to clear at least a 3-foot path on their properties’ sidewalks.
