YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — York will send inspectors to patrol for snow violations as residents shovel their way out of a weekend snowstorm, the city’s mayor said.
The enforcement, which may result in fines, starts Tuesday, said Mayor Sandie Walker. City code requires residents and property owners to remove snow and ice from sidewalks within 12 hours after a storm ends.
