Central Pa. municipalities are still digging their way out three days after a snowstorm dumped around a foot of snow in the area. That means some residents are still trapped at home by mounds of impassible snow.
“I was supposed to be in the office today,” said Deborah Mallek, a resident of Harrisburg’s uptown neighborhood. “I’m fortunate that I can work from home, but I know a lot of people haven’t been able to get to work at all.”
Mallek moved her car off of the street, which the city asked residents to do so they could plow, but now, her garage door is against a wall of snow. The alleys behind her house haven’t been plowed at all, and she said plows have only come through the main road in front of her house once…
