YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Midstate man who nearly lost his life last winter from a dislodged piece of ice said he wants to prevent others from the hidden danger.
Brandon Hennel, 25, only remembers warming up his car before heading to his girlfriend’s house. He doesn’t remember what happened shortly after: a sheet of ice fell from the roof of a truck, crossed into oncoming lanes on I-83 and smashed through his car’s windshield into his face.
