Controversial former Dauphin County township manager quits new job after 4 months

Former Lower Paxton township manager Bradley Gotshall resigned as a county administrator in Virginia after four months, taking a severance of $113,000 with him, according to news reports.

Warren County hired Gotshall in September at a $200,000 annual salary following a months-long search that cost the county $34,500. He stepped down Wednesday afternoon, a few hours ahead of a special board of supervisors meeting called to discuss the situation, The Northern Virginia Daily reported.
