A man suffered sudden cardiac arrest while hiking at Rocky Ridge County Park, prompting an emergency response that included bystander CPR, EMS treatment, and subsequent care at WellSpan York Hospital, according to WellSpan Health.
George Taylor was hiking with a friend when he began to feel faint after his fitness watch indicated an elevated heart rate. The pair were approximately 10 yards from the nearest access road when Taylor collapsed on the trail due to cardiac arrest.
