Woman allegedly carjacked after stopping to help Carlisle man lying in the road

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A woman was allegedly carjacked Wednesday night in Dauphin County by a man lying in the middle of the road after she stopped to help him, according to police.

Mubarak Amin, 28, of Carlisle, allegedly pushed the woman to the ground before getting in her maroon Ford Escape and trying to drive away near the 3200 block of Wayne Street in Swatara Township, according to court documents.

Police said in the charging documents that the stolen vehicle was stopped against shrubs by the south side of I-83 north, adjacent to the off-ramp to 32nd Street…
