Outgoing State Representative Mary Jo Daley endorses Whitemarsh Supervisor in Democratic Party primary

Retiring State Representative Mary Jo Daley (D, PA-148) (pictured left) has made an endorsement in the Democratic Party primary to replace her in representing Whitemarsh Township., Narberth, and a portion of Lower Merion Township in Harrisburg.

On February 7th, Daley emailed her supporters and endorsed Whitemarsh Township Supervisor Megan Griffin-Shelley (pictured right), who just took office in January. In her endorsement, Daley stated, “My priorities have always been clear. I want a woman in this seat. Representation matters. I want that woman to bring other women with her.”

Daley offered that she had planned to stay neutral in the race, but that the current political climate drove her to endorse Griffin-Shelley, who she feels is the “right woman for the times we are facing.”…
