Kevin Crockett, 35, and Ashley Rice, 38, were discovered deceased at an apartment along Susquehanna Trail in Watts Township after PSP Newport received a report around 2:23 p.m., according to the release.
Troopers responded to the scene and secured the apartment, activating a partial Troop H Major Case Team to assist the Newport Criminal Investigation Unit, police said. Perry County Coroner Robert Ressler responded, and Perry County District Attorney David Merris was consulted, authorities confirmed.
