Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office looking for inmate who allegedly walked from work release program

CARLISLE, Pa. — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating an inmate who reportedly walked away from his work release program.

Authorities said 54-year-old Eugene Wieble was last seen at Fiddler’s Bar and Grill at Mayapple Golf Course in Carlisle just before 1 p.m. on Monday.

Wieble reportedly clocked out of his shift and left in a bright red Honda or Toyota. He is described as 5’11”, 205 pounds, balding with close-cropped reddish-blonde hair and having a gray-and-blonde beard and blue eyes. He has been incarcerated at Cumberland County Prison since Dec. 10 for a third-offense DUI conviction, authorities said…
