Person transported to hospital after tractor-trailer carrying 40,000 gallons of milk overturns on I-81

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Update, 12:20 p.m.: According to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler, the incident was cleared and I-81 northbound reopened at about 11:40 a.m.

State Police and PennDOT officials responded to a tractor-trailer crash Tuesday morning on I-81 northbound in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, according to dispatch.

The crash occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. Dauphin County dispatch stated that one person was transported to the hospital. It is unknown what their injury status is at this time…
