Lower Paxton Township chair resigns after censure

LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — Pamela Thompson will no longer serve as chair of the Lower Paxton Township Board of Supervisors after seemingly soliciting donations during a meeting earlier this month.

Thompson was not present at Tuesday’s meeting, but she was the first item on the agenda. Members voted unanimously to approve a measure censuring her. Shortly after, they also approved Thompson’s resignation as chair.
