Cajun fusion restaurant announces opening date in York County

DOWNTOWN YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — A popular Midstate restaurant known for offering Cajun cuisine just announced the grand opening date of its new location in York County.

abc27 News reported back in October 2025 when the owner of The Original Men in the Kitchen, Kyle Moore, first confirmed that he would be expanding his Cajun-style restaurant into downtown York.

The new location for The Original Men in the Kitchen was acquired back in October, and is situated at 58 West Market Street. This space was previously occupied by a Portuguese restaurant called Mesa Moreira.
