‘Heroic actions’: Bystanders help York County police officer in distress

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Instead of watching, two bystanders were “heroic” and jumped into action to help a York County police officer in distress.

There was a “physical altercation” involving a Carroll Township Police officer at the Rutters at 899 US Route 15 North around 4:30 p.m. Friday, police said.
