The City of Harrisburg doesn’t need any more bad news. And yet, it just keeps coming.

The latest is the closing of one of the city’s few entertainment venues – HMAC. And whether the blame goes to the owners of HMAC, the city’s high amusement tax, or a combination of both, it’s not good news for a city that desperately needs some.

Add to the bad news about HMAC’s closing the revelation that the city may not have effectively used a half-million dollar federal grant to tackle gun violence…
