Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – Snow will begin around 5 a.m. Sunday, and bursts exceeding 1 inch per hour could quickly cover highways across central Pennsylvania before the morning is over.

According to the National Weather Service in State College, a Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 5 a.m. Sunday until 1 p.m. Monday for Dauphin, Schuylkill, Lebanon, Adams, York and Lancaster counties. Total snowfall between 6 and 12 inches is possible, with higher amounts where heavier snow bands persist. Wind gusts could reach 40 mph Sunday night and Monday, increasing the risk of downed tree limbs and sporadic power outages…
