Woman charged with felony for stealing shrimp ring, baby bibs

Monroe Township, Pa. — A Port Trevorton woman was charged with felony retail theft after she allegedly stole a shrimp ring and a pack of baby bibs from the Selinsgrove Walmart store.

Catherine M. Hubble, 48, was charged on Feb. 15 after she failed to scan the items at the self-checkout, according to court documents. Walmart’s asset protection officer told Trooper David Sawicki of Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove that Hubble scanned the majority of her items but not the shrimp and bibs, which are valued at $24. The assets protection officer then asked to speak with Hubble and verified her identity.
