Shannon Renee Kerns, 37, of Carlisle, was charged after officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 100 block of Lincoln Street just before 3 p.m., according to police and court records.
When officers arrived, they found a man standing in the road with blood covering his face and head, according to the affidavit of probable cause. He told police that Kerns, the mother of his child, had stabbed him in the head and punched him in the face multiple times.
