Primanti Bros., the Pittsburgh-born sandwich chain famous for stuffing French fries and coleslaw inside its sandwiches, has closed two more of its central Pennsylvania restaurants, leaving fans in the region with fewer options to get their fix.

In 2025, Primanti Bros. closed other locations including it’s Hanover location, saying they were reevaluating their footprint in Central PA. In a REDDIT POST, patrons claim there were signs posted on the door.
It was noted that the Hershey and York locations will remain open.
