‘Quite upsetting’: Former Primanti Bros. employee says he was blindsided by store closure

Cumberland County, PA — A former Primanti Bros. employee is speaking out after he lost his job due to the business closing two of its locations.

Michael Le has worked at the Primanti Bros. in Camp Hill for the past two years; starting as a server and eventually working as a line cook. Le said he worked his last shift Saturday, before receiving a call hours later on Sunday morning.

“I got a phone call, and [it] woke me up, and I assumed I was getting called in,” Le said. I knew we were getting, like, snow or whatever. I assume[d] that might have been a weather thing, but, he [Le’s manager] was like, ‘No, we’re officially closed. Like we’re done.’”…
