HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — It wasn’t on the agenda, but the sudden closure of HMAC was on the minds of many during Tuesday’s Harrisburg City Council meeting.
A packed audience spoke up to defend the entertainment venue, which blamed the closure on the city’s refusal to renew essential operating licenses. However, Neil Grover, the city solicitor, said HMAC owes substantial amounts in entertainment taxes.
