Driver arrested more than a year after allegedly striking flagger in Harrisburg: police

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — More than a year after a flagger was hit by a car and seriously injured, Harrisburg police say they’ve made an arrest in the hit-and-run case.

It was April Hoyrup’s third night on the job when she was struck at the corner of Paxton and Cameron streets on Nov. 22, 2024. The vehicle that hit her never stopped, police said.
