MECHANICSBURG — When Amir Tasker was walking back to Chambersburg’s bleachers in the back of Cumberland Valley’s natatorium, someone pulled him aside to tell him that he can’t wait to watch him swim in the Olympics.
Tasker himself said that was the goal. Why not? The sky’s the limit, as they say. And certainly Pennsylvania’s No. 15-ranked recruit in the Class of 2027 has put forth a stellar varsity career thus far. His résumé just got another item added to it as well.
The Trojans ace earned the first individual District 3 Class 3A gold medal of his career, seizing the 200 freestyle crown in 1:39.08 on Friday. It’s a new personal record as well…
