The D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co. in Spring Garden Township will receive upgrades and add production of Meiji Hello Panda cookies to its plant, according to Meiji America Inc.
The company announced in a news release that it will invest $65 million in the local facility, including upgrading existing equipment. The decision was based on the rapid growth of its popular Hello Panda cookies, which feature a crème center inside the crunchy treat.
