Harrisburg, Pennsylvania police are investigating a shooting in which gunfire struck a residential home on Monday (March 16), with no injuries reported.
According to PennLive, the shooting took place on the 1900 block of Bellevue Road during the afternoon hours. Officers responded to the scene and confirmed that shots had been fired into the home. No one inside was hurt.
The incident is the latest in a string of recent shootings in and around the Harrisburg area. PennLive also reported that on Saturday (March 14), officers were already in the midtown neighborhood near Fulton and Kelker streets when gunshots rang out before 8 p.m. Officers searched yards and porches with a police dog and flashlights, and residents were told to go back inside and stay there. Police said no one was injured and there was no known property damage from that incident — though a resident later discovered a bullet hole that shattered her bedroom window, leaving fragments trapped in the double-pane glass.
