‘Only joking’: ‘Highly intoxicated’ Highspire man body slammed woman, police say

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Dauphin County man has been charged with assault after reportedly slamming a woman against the wall while intoxicated, according to court documents.

An affidavit showed that around 7:32 p.m. on Monday, Michael Pressler, 59, and a woman were in a fight at a home on the 200 block of Market Street in Highspire Borough.

At the scene, Highspire police said that the victim came home and found Pressler intoxicated. She told the police he body slammed her into a wall and then told her he was “only joking.”…
