Steelton declares state of emergency after 1 dead, 3 injured in Dauphin County shooting

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Steelton Mayor Ciera Dent declared a state of emergency Sunday following a deadly early‑morning shooting at the Paradise Palace that left one person dead and three others injured.

Steelton Police said the shooting happened at the lounge along North Front Street at around 4:15 a.m. Sunday. When officers arrived, they found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. At least one person was pronounced dead, while others were rushed to the hospital.
